Cross-Country Schooling at Heritage Park

Starter Novice through Preliminary Level cross country questions are available to school at Heritage Park. The terrain is open but slightly rolling. Water, ditches and banks are available at most levels.  Funds raised from schooling shows and cross country schooling days permit MAEA to provide several new fences each season.

Schooling hours vary by season, weather and volunteer availability.

The safety of the riders and the horses is our top priority when making the decision of if we need to cancel. We also take into consideration the preservation of the footing, so that lasting damage is not caused to our beautiful tracks. If we are forced to cancel a schooling date due to weather or footing conditions, full refunds will be given.

  • Non Member Schooling Fee: $70/horse

  • Helmet, XC Vest & Medical armband/bracelet required

  • Negative Coggins within 1 year required
